Free shipping & parcel tools

Ten calculators for anyone who ships a parcel or waits on one. Work out what a carrier will actually bill you, decode a tracking number or a status message, and estimate what customs will want. Every one runs entirely in your browser — no account, no ads, nothing sent to a server.

Already shipped? Paste the number — we'll detect the carrier.

Before you ship

Work out what the carrier will actually bill you — and whether your box is even accepted.

Identify & understand

Decode a tracking number or a status message you've never seen before.

While you wait

Set expectations, and work out whether a delay is normal or not.

Why we built these

We run multi-carrier tracking across 3,000+ carriers, which means we spend a lot of time inside the parts of shipping that are badly explained: why a light box costs more than a heavy one, why a parcel sits in customs for a week, what “in transit to next facility” actually signals. Two of these tools — carrier detection and the status decoder — are the public versions of data we already maintain to make the tracker work.

Every calculator shows the exact formula, divisor or threshold it applied, with a link to the primary source next to the figure, so you can check us rather than trust us. Carrier divisors and size limits are reviewed annually and at each rate change; tracking formats and status wordings quarterly; customs thresholds monthly, because they are currently changing faster than at any point in decades. Everything carries a last-reviewed August 2026 stamp so you can tell how fresh a page is.

What we will not do: pretend an estimate is a bill. Carriers and customs authorities decide the final figure, classification is a legal determination we link out to official tariff schedules for, and where a number is directional we say so on the page rather than in a footnote.
