Delete your ParcelTracking account

Remove your account and everything stored against it — permanently, and in under a minute.

This page explains how to delete your ParcelTracking account — the app published by ParcelTracking — together with the shipments, connected mailboxes and notification data stored against it. It applies to the ParcelTracking apps for Android and iOS, the browser extension and the web app at app.parceltracking.com. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself

The fastest route. It takes effect immediately and needs no reply from us.

From the web

  1. 1Go to app.parceltracking.com and sign in with the email address on your account.
  2. 2Open Settings from the account menu.
  3. 3Choose the Danger zone tab.
  4. 4Select Delete next to “Delete account”, then Confirm delete.

From the mobile app

  1. 1Open the ParcelTracking app and make sure you are signed in.
  2. 2Go to Settings from the profile tab.
  3. 3Tap Delete account.
  4. 4Confirm when asked. Your data is erased right away.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in — you lost access to the mailbox, or you removed the app before deleting the account — email us and we will do it for you.

  1. 1Email support@parceltracking.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.
  2. 2Send it from the address on the account, or tell us which address the account uses. We verify ownership before deleting anything — that check is the only reason this route is slower than doing it yourself.
  3. 3We complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying your request, and usually within a few working days. You get a confirmation email when it is done.

Cancel a paid plan first

Deleting your account removes our copy of your subscription, but it does not cancel the subscription itself — only the store that took the payment can do that. If you subscribed in the app, cancel through Google Play → Subscriptions or App Store → Subscriptions. If you subscribed on the web, cancel in Settings → Billing before you delete. Otherwise billing continues after the account is gone.

What is deleted

Everything below is erased from our live systems the moment the deletion runs. There is no grace period, no archived copy and no way for us to restore it afterwards.

  • Your account itself — email address, name, profile photo and sign-in identities (Google / Apple).
  • Every shipment you track: parcels, air cargo, titles, notes and their tracking history on your account.
  • Connected mailboxes and stores (Gmail, Shopify). The stored access tokens are revoked, so we lose the ability to read your inbox.
  • Shipping emails we detected but you never imported.
  • Push devices, web-push subscriptions, Telegram links, notification preferences, your in-app notification feed and its delivery log.
  • Your activity history and any feedback you sent us.
  • Subscription and billing records we hold, including the plan history and payment ledger.
  • Usage analytics events recorded against your account.

Carrier tracking records themselves are not personal to you — a tracking number and its checkpoints come from the carrier and may still be held for other people tracking the same shipment. Your link to it, your name for it and your history with it are deleted.

What is kept, and for how long

Encrypted database backups
Backups are taken on a rolling schedule and are not edited in place. Deleted records disappear from them as the backups expire, within 30 days.
Purchase records held by Apple, Google and Stripe
If you subscribed, the app store or payment processor keeps its own record of the transaction under its own policy. We cannot delete those, and tax law requires them to be kept.
Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics
Counts such as “how many shipments were tracked this week”. These carry no account identifier and cannot be traced back to you, so they are not deleted.
Operational and security logs
Server logs holding a hashed IP address and a timestamp, kept for up to 90 days to investigate abuse and outages, then discarded automatically.

Before you go

  • Export your shipments first if you want a copy — Settings → Danger zone → Export downloads every shipment, active and archived, as a CSV.
  • Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. The data stays on our servers until you delete the account itself.
  • Deleting your account does not stop the carrier from delivering your parcels. It only stops us from tracking them for you.
